Horsepower is like F.U.C.K. buddies.. you want as many as possible, for as cheap as possible, with very few people knowing how many you actually have.

Well the block is now an ice cube so it looks like I might have to rebuild the motor. Looking for a mk4 2.0 bottom end to mate to a aeb head and if I can afford it a set of pistons then hopefully I can actually use all the power the turbo is capable of

I drained the rad not thinking to drain the block. Was filled with water and whatever coolant was left in the heater core and block. When the weather hit -40 a couple weeks back now I went to check the car and realized the block still had water in it. None of the plastics burst there was no coolant in the oil or the combustion chambers and web I thawed it no coolant wound up on the floor so I'm hoping it somehow survived, still need to pressure test the cooling system and I want to pressure test the motor when it warms up. But for now it starts and runs so here's to hoping its still good

Ecu was mounted last week and this week I picked up a single bride fixed back with mounting brackets. I'm not sure if I'm going to mount them to the existing sliders or ditch the slider all together. Cut out the factory front seat crossmember and just bolt the seats to the floor. Depends on how high the new seat sits compared to the old ones.

Been off work for spring for the last week and a half, so I've been thrashing to get the car driving. Picked up a hydro handbrake. Simply because i didn't want to order a whole new ebrake setup since mine all dissappeared sometime during the swap. fixed a broken wire that wasn't powering up my ecu. Bought a vacuum manifold so that i can properly plumb in my BOV and Boost gauge. Paid a visit to Redbull for some welds on my BOV flange. and picked up the last few fittings for my fuel cell vent. and judging from the smell in my garage I need to get that vent sorted out right away before 20L of super 94 evaporates on me. tomorrows plans mount handbrake, decide on line routing for handbrake. pick up vacuum line and hopefully the last fittings i need, instal BOV, address fuel cell vent, and datalog/tune to the best of my incredibly limited tuning knowledge. IF i take it out of the garage I'll set up the go pro and maybe post a video, maybe
