Widening Rado steelies

Anyone know who's widening steelies in town?

alberta wheel repair did the wheels on my bosses 70 charger. would try there first

Thanks for the lead but I heard through the forums that AW don't widen wheels? Or stopped widening wheels? But I'll try them anyway can't hurt!

Checked it out at AW it's possible they just need to see what you got and quote ya from there!! It's a start....

yeah and then you wait 8 months to get them back, IF you want them done call greens in BC or Regina Wheel Works. You can try if you want but read some reviews on AWR before you make your decision.

At AWR they would not even give me a quote on widening them, i brought in the wheels, still no quote, said he would have to do them to be able to give me a price, then i left one wheel with him, never got a call back ever.

Also if you know a competent welder/fabricator you can get them done, get 15" GM ralleye wheels (8" wide) and cut the centers out, cut centers from corrado wheels, weld into wider barrels at offset you need. It really is not very hard.

Dewey did this (Chevy hoops, rado centers), but I don't think he'd do it again for anyone. To much to be liable for...
