Here are my current VW's. I am a big nerd.

My harlequin, 183 of 200 run. This will be my project when I get back to Canada. It needs some love.

My VRT mk3. 434WHP and 445WTQ. Its a riot, ask Dewey.

My MK1 convertible. Hopefully the Calaway turbo kit finds its way onto the car by spring.

Buster the VR6 mk2. I havent driven this car much in the past summer. But soon it will get some love and be my daily again.

Looks like we have a pretty similar collection of MK3's. I bet the black golf is a blast. Do you have traction issues?

Is your harlequin rusty at all? It seems to be in decent condition from the photo. If you make it down to Calgary with it this upcoming summer, let's shoot some photos.

The VRT is definately struggling for traction, it will do a burnout at highway speeds if you work it hard enough, I have run a 12.4 in it, but the trap speed is where it shines, Mid 120's pretty consistently. Enough to embarrass my buddys R35 tuned GTR from a roll haha. The Harlequin is pretty solid excluding one hole in the floor in the rear passenger foot well area, rockers are ok, and under the fenders is perfect. I will repair what is needed and get Deaner to polish it. I'm sure it will be presentable. I will be in Calgary a few times in the summer. I am trying to find a Neuspeed charger for my harlequin just so it isnt such a dog.

That is pretty impressive, those GTR's are very fast. I have driven a few of them, and they scare me sometimes. The FWD VRT's do struggle off the line, I lost to a Ford Focus this summer because I couldn't put any power down haha.

I have been passively looking for a neuspeed for the Harlequin too, but I think I will just go the basic bolt on route instead (270 cam, chip, modified airbox, and catback exhaust). It has a bone stock ABA right now, and it's just a little too slow. I'm going to keep the ABA though; I love the reliability, gas mileage, and simplicity.

Just bought myself a new Nikon, trying it out on the cabrio in storage. Many more photos of the harlequin and cabrio to come this summer.
