What have you guys used to replace the chrome strip on your mk2 bumpers and door trim?

I know someone suggested going to crappy tire and get some of there chrome pin stripping stuff, anyone do this?

wrapping the strips I think is your best choice for the most oem look. The thing right now is my suppliers are not holding chome. My supplier has to have it in so we can buy it by the yard as bringing a roll in of a premium chrome wrap is a multi thousand dollar action. My one supplier has wrap brushed aluminum right now which might be a cool option. I have a sample if you want to stop by and take a look at it.

Smart Idea Joe! I may think of that in the future, Just bought new bumpers with new chrome, So this could be closed. Also ECS does sell the chrome strips.
